Like Cabo and spring break, resorts and margaritas, travel and reading go hand in hand for me. I’m always looking forward to getting away and getting lost in a new world. My husband used to bemoan how heavy our bags were because I would overestimate how much reading I’d get done. Now with kids, I’ve had to cut the extra weight, but I still try to sneak in chapters in between pool time and exploring. I personally like reading on my phone so I have one less thing to carry around besides an extra battery charge for some all day pool lounging. However I do like having a paperback that’s easy to pack and can get dirty and sandy and look cute in for the gram, iykwim.
If you’re jetting off somewhere soon, here are some of the stories I’ve loved getting lost in on my recent trips:
Beach Read by Emily Henry
The Two Lives of Silvia Byrd by Josie Silver
Winter in Paradise by Elin Hildebrand
Anything by our PPG favorite Christina Lauren but especially Josh and Hazel’s Guide to Not Dating or The Unhoneymooners
Tweet Cute by Emma Lord
Happy reading and even happily ever travels!
