Happy Thanksgiving, PPG friends… And happy birthday to us! We’re so grateful for this past year of podcasts, and on this month’s episode we chat Thanksgiving plans and Sophia shares her first holiday debacle in true 2020 fashion.
Our November book club book was In A Holidaze by Christina Lauren, our favorite pair of romance writers. But sadly this latest installment was a bit of a let down… read on or listen in to find out why.

What we liked:
- Perfectly set in a winter wonderland cabin, this book definitely set us up in a holiday mood. We’re so ready to get our own Christmas decorations up and deck the halls!
- The first four chapters are excellently done, and we fall for the main gal, Madelyn, and her unrequited love, Andrew.
What we disliked:
- The whole time loop thing was not only disorienting for Mae but also for us. We kept waiting for her to go back again, and even though it was a happy ending, the last 2/3 of the book left us wanting more.
- We were hoping for more of a love triangle or at least for Theo’s storyline to be developed as they kept dropping hints at their relationship but never fully fleshed it out. This felt like such a missed opportunity at enriching the drama.
